providers, we arranged this list of those we saw online. This post is by no

on-demand. “ It has around 50,000 downloads in the Playstore. It looks more
like a platform to get services from but given the variety of tasks that can be
ordered, it’s very possible to ask the hired “kuya” or “ate” to buy food from a
food business.
eatigo
Eatigo
is the “No. 1 Restaurant Reservation App” according to the Playstore. It has
more than 1 million downloads. As of time of writing, it has a function still
on beta for delivery & takeaway.
Get Express
Get
Express Global seems quite new. It has around 500+ downloads in the Playstore.
One of its functions is an option for food delivery.
ordermo
Ordermo
also looks like a newer contender. It has around 50,000 plus downloads on the
Playstore as of writing. Its description reads “For all your needs, i-ordermo na
yan!” As of writing it mainly operates in areas outside of Metro Manila:
Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan and Pampanga.
Pabile Food Delivery
“Delivery
made easy! Fast and Cheap and Convenient” is what this app has written on the
Playstore. It has around 5,000 plus downloads. As of writing, it mainly
operates in areas like San Pablo City, Rizal, Nagcarlan, and Liliw.
Nom Nom
For
those in Calbagyo City, Samar, PH it claims to be “the first local food
delivery mobile application” according to its description in the Playstore. It
has 5,000 plus downloads as of writing.
Beep
Beep has
around 10,000 downloads as of writing on the Playstore.
Other apps discovered
Zomato
Zomato
functions more as a listing and review site for food businesses. It has around
100 million-plus downloads in the Playstore. You can read reviews, get contact
details and see the menus of featured restaurants through Zomato.
Conclusion
This
list and its details are preliminary and do not represent the whole of the food
delivery platform providers in the country. What it does provide is a starting
point to review other potential platforms for growth aside from Grab and Food
Panda.
